FFL Holder Disposition of NFA Firearms
When disposing NFA Firearms to another FFL Holder, some additional information is required to produce the Form 3. The Transferee / FFL Holder information on the Form 3 must include the Employer Identification Number as well as the Business Organization type of:
If not found during the disposition process, this information will be gathered through the following dialog.
If required additional firearm info is missing you will be prompted for that information as well through the following dialog. This dialog is covered in more detail under Acquisition of Firearms - NFA Integration.
Disposing of NFA Firearms to an FFL Holder produces a Form 3 and creates a temporary status record for the transaction. When the Form 3 has been approved by the ATF, you can then dispose the firearm through the Form 3 Complete process.
